Frequently Asked Questions

What is Health & Wellness Coaching?

Health & wellness coaching is a supportive partnership focused on helping you create sustainable change in your everyday life. Rather than prescribing or lecturing, coaching provides guidance, structure, and space to help you clarify your goals, understand what’s getting in the way, and build habits that support your health in a realistic, meaningful way.

The focus is on behavior change, awareness, and self-trust—so progress feels supportive, not forced.

Why would someone choose health & wellness coaching?

Most lasting health happens in daily life, not in a doctor’s office. While many people know what they “should” do, making changes consistently—especially during stress, busy seasons, or setbacks—can be challenging.
Health & wellness coaching offers support, perspective, and accountability so you don’t have to navigate change alone. It helps bridge the gap between knowing and doing, providing encouragement and structure while honoring your unique life and circumstances.

What does a Health & Wellness Coach do?

A health & wellness coach walks alongside you as you define and work toward your own health goals. Rather than telling you what to do, the coach helps you explore what matters to you, identify obstacles, and develop strategies that fit your life.

Coaching may include:

  • Clarifying personal health goals
  • Supporting behavior change and habit building
  • Helping you implement recommendations from a clinician, nutritionist, or plan you’ve chosen
  • Offering accountability, encouragement, and perspective
  • Providing education and resources when requested

The goal is to help you build confidence, awareness, and sustainable habits that support long-term well-being.

How long is a typical program?

Most pathways are structured in 3-month segments because there’s something powerful about a 90-day rhythm. This timeframe allows space for awareness, practice, and meaningful change to take root without rushing the process. Many women choose to continue beyond the initial three months to deepen their progress and experience the full benefit of lasting, sustainable results.

I’ve tried diets and gyms before. Why is this different?

Most diets and gym plans rely on rigid rules, willpower, or external pressure. This approach is different. Instead of telling you what to do, this approach provides supportive guardrails—a safe, steady framework that helps you listen to your body, understand your patterns, and make choices that truly fit your life. You remain in the driver’s seat while receiving guidance, perspective, and support that allows lasting change to happen with confidence and ease.

Will you give me a specific meal plan or workout routine?

Rather than prescribing rigid meal plans or workout routines, this approach supports you in learning how to listen to your body and understand what truly works for you. For those who want additional structure, an optional food roadmap is available. It’s a flexible framework designed to provide guidance while honoring your unique needs. Movement is supported in the same way—helping you discover what feels sustainable and enjoyable. The goal is awareness, confidence, and habits that support long-term well-being.

What happens if I have a busy week or fall off track?

Busy weeks and unexpected challenges are part of real life. This work is designed to support you through those moments, not judge them. Instead of guilt or starting over, we pause, reflect, and adjust—using awareness as a guide. This approach honors the reality of life while gently keeping you moving forward.

Do you take insurance?

Hoffman Wellness Group does not bill insurance directly. All services are self-pay at the time of purchase.
Some clients may be eligible to seek reimbursement through their HSA or FSA plan, depending on their specific coverage.

What is the cost of your programs?

Investment varies depending on the pathway or membership you choose and the level of support that best fits your needs. Because this work is personalized and relational, pricing is shared with clarity before any commitment is made.
Many people find that investing in guided, personalized support helps reduce the cycle of quick fixes, starting over, or trial-and-error approaches—creating a more sustainable use of time, energy, and resources over the long term.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds for your services?

Are there specific foods, products, or supplements I must buy?

Hoffman Wellness Group does not accept HSA or FSA cards directly. Payment is made upfront, and clients may then submit expenses for possible reimbursement through their HSA or FSA administrator.
In some cases, reimbursement may be available with a Letter of Medical Necessity from a licensed healthcare provider. Health and wellness coaching may qualify as a reimbursable expense when it supports medical care related to nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and behavior change, as outlined under IRS Section 213(d).
Documentation and guidance are available, including a Letter of Medical Necessity template and simple instructions you may share with your healthcare provider or plan administrator.

Because all plans vary, reimbursement cannot be guaranteed. It’s recommended to confirm eligibility directly with your HSA or FSA administrator before purchasing services.

No. There are no required foods, products, or supplements to purchase. This work meets you where you are and honors how your body responds. The focus is on awareness, nourishment, and building habits that feel supportive—not restrictive, forced, or depriving. Any recommendations are optional and guided by what feels aligned, sustainable, and realistic for your life.

How soon will I see results?

Results look different for everyone and can show up in different ways. Many people notice early shifts in awareness, clarity, energy, or relationship with food and movement within the first few weeks. Physical changes often take more time and can vary depending on the pathway you choose, your starting point, and the level of support that feels right for you.
The focus is on progress that lasts—helping you feel more grounded, supported, and confident as meaningful change unfolds over time, rather than chasing quick or temporary outcomes.
